Along with the cheer of the holiday season comes the drear of colder and wetter weather, making for long dark days stuck indoors. We cheered things up with some holiday games, including this fun Christmas twist on the traditional cup-and-ball favorite, Cup and Jingle Bell!
Cup & Jingle Bell, A Holiday Game
A few weeks back while cruising down the aisles of Wal-Mart, I saw these mini red cups for $1 and had to get them. I knew I would find all sorts of fun uses for them this holiday season. First up, a fun and easy twist on an old school favorite – cup-and-ball!

Quick & Easy To Assemble
This one was so easy to assemble, I put together a short little video how-to for you…
An Afternoon of Reindeer Games
They were ready to go post nap time, and the girls were thoroughly amused. I think even the hubby likes them. I may have to whip up a few more to send with him to the office this week!
And while they had lots of fun and laughs… this traditional game with our fun holiday twist is a great builder of eye-hand coordination, while also challenging problem solving skills! The jingle bell certainly adds to the merriment too.
With the weather already turning cold, wet and dreary, I have a feeling this may be the first of several holiday games inspired by our mini red cups. In the meantime, check out our Nutcracker-inspired Tic Tac Toe. Stay tuned for more Reindeer Games coming soon!
