I received complementary product from and entry to Launch Trampoline Park featured in this post. As always, opinions remain 100% my own.
Guess what? There’s a brand new trampoline park in Milford! Launch Trampoline Park opened its doors last month, providing an awesome new active indoor play spot for kids of all ages. We got a full tour, and spent a morning with all 3 of my kids (ages 4, 3 and 10 months) at Toddler Time, and we couldn’t have had a better time! Learn about our visit, all Launch has to offer, and enter to win 4 jump passes to go check it out for yourself at the end of this post.
Our Trip to Launch Trampoline Park
I had never been to a trampoline park before. I’d heard about the ones in neighboring towns, but to be honest, I thought they sounded a little dangerous and more for older kids than my under 5 crew. After visiting the new trampoline park in Milford, I couldn’t have been more wrong.
How To Jump
Launch is located on Old Gate Lane behind The Edge. When you first arrive, you must complete a waiver form for all visitors to Launch. You can do this on touchscreens set up along the wall in the entry hall. To save time (and your childrens’ patience), you can sign your waiver online on Launch’s local website before you come.
You pay to jump by the hour. Kids 4 and under are $10 an hour. Older kids start at $9 for 30 minutes, or $15 for an hour. Note that you must also wear special Launch grip socks to jump. The socks are $2.50 per pair. You can re-use your socks on future visits, and Launch will exchange socks from other trampoline parks if you bring them in.
You will be given a colored wrist band, based on your jump time. The giant score board in the center of the park tells you how much jump time you have remaining, based on the color of your wrist band. If you are worried an hour isn’t enough, trust me – it is. After an hour, I about had to carry my kids out over my shoulder, they were so tired.
The Lay of the Trampoline Park
Launch has sectioned off their park into 6 different areas. Each area is clearly marked, with safety rules posted. There is a dedicated toddler area, only open to kids under 5 at all times. There are 2 Xtreme dodge ball courts, 3 basketball hoops, a large open jump area, and the Launchpad. The jump areas are handicap accessible, which is great for moms with strollers too.
All jump areas featuring trampoline surfaces, with all springs, wall edges and support beams, encased by mats for jumper safety. With no exposed springs, it was safe enough, I could even let my crawler down to play. The entire park and all jumping surfaces are cleaned daily, and the place was spotless.
The toddler play area, dodge ball courts and basketball hoops feature foam balls for play. The Launchpad is a unique feature from other trampoline parks. Instead of the usual foam pit, Launch has a giant, covered crash pad. This is not only safer than a foam pit, it is MUCH cleaner too.
Each play area is staffed with Launch personnel to engage with children, as well as maintain all jumpers safety.
After You Jump
In addition to the jumping areas, there is also an arcade, a food counter, and a really nice elevated seating area that runs down the center of the park. Launch also has private party rooms as well.
The arcade is all run on a rechargeable card, which also keeps track of the tickets you win. Cash in your tickets for prizes on your way out the door, or store them on your card for your next visit.
Endless Options at Launch Trampoline Park
Launch truly offers fun for all. In addition to open jump hours, the trampoline park also offers special hours for Toddler Time and Sensory Saturday. For larger groups, schedule a Field Trip or set up a fundraiser to raise money for your organization. And of course, Launch offers birthday parties too!
Currently, Toddler Time is on Friday mornings from 10am – 12pm. Toddler Time is for children under 5, and is $12 per child, which includes the accompanying adult as well. During Toddler Time, Launch plays preschool-friendly music, and the park is closed to all other jumpers.
At the end of every Toddler Time, the Launch mascot, Joey, stops in to say hello too!
Sensory Saturday is currently held Saturdays from 9-10am. It is for people with special needs and their families. The cost is $10 per child, including one parent or guardian. During Sensory Saturday, Launch turns down the music and lowers the lights to provide a fun and friendly environment for those with sensory needs.
Give your kids’ class an activity break this winter. Launch offers field trips for local school children or mom’s groups, beginning as low as $10 per person for an hour of jump time. Launch staff will help your class explore movement, agility and lead team building activities and more.
