Featured Animal Activities for Kids

This week’s featured posts, shared by kids’ activity bloggers from around the globe last week, all celebrate our furry friends.  I don’t know about your kids, but my girls love all things animal-related, and would thoroughly enjoy all of these!

Animal Activities for Kids featured on We Love Weekends 2015-07-24

First up, we loved the Paw Prints Painting Activity from Letters in the Sand.  We have done this ourselves in larger, kid-sized footprints, but using the toy animals is a great idea, and sure makes for easier clean-up!  Can’t wait to check out all the animal print book recommendations at the end of her post too.

Next, from Brain Power Boy, a free printable for a Forest Animal Memory Game.  Memory is one of the first games Big M has really gotten into – or “matching game” as she likes to call it.  This is a great version to introduce Memory with since the number of cards are fairly limited.  And the graphics are adorable!

And last, but not least, from Nemcsok Farms, we loved this round-up of 10 Garden Garden Creature Activities, in addition to her own DIY Frog Cottages.  We are about to move from a beach-side neighborhood with no yard and limited wildlife, to acreage in the middle of the woods, with some wetlands.  We can’t wait to use some of these to explore our new yard!
